Adoration in Sallynoggin

All Night Vigil on the 8th/9th May in preparation and for the protection of marriage in Ireland.  Commencing with Mass at 6.30 pm, a guided Holy Hour and Benediction.  There will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament through the night until 9.00 am.  The vigil will conclude with Mass on Saturday morning.  Contact Mairéad Bernal (085 8617884).  Parking and refreshments available.

Vacancy for Parish secretary, Drimnagh

The Parish of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Mourne Road, Drimnagh, Dublin 12 is currently recruiting a Parish secretary.  This role is offered initially on a one year fixed term/part-time basis.  The successful candidate will have at least 5 years clerical/administrative experience.  A letter of application with enclosed curriculum vitae should be posted to Canon John Flaherty, Parochial House, Sperrin Road, Drimnagh, Dublin 12.  The closing date for completed applications is Monday 18th May 2015.

Pilgrimage to the Holy Land, June 2015

Reminder: some places still remain for a trip to the Holy Land, June 8th-18th, 2015.  Follow the footsteps of Jesus from the Sea of Galilee to the River Jordan and on to the final days in Jerusalem.  Flights depart from and return to Dublin Airport.  Group Leader Mícheál de Barra; Spiritual Director Fr. St Paul in Greece - 13-22 May 2015

Director and lecturer:  Kieran J. O’Mahony, OSA, Co-ordinator of Biblical Studies for the Diocese of Dublin.  This biblical visit to Greece traces the travels and teaching of St Paul.  The Bible text for the trip is 1 Corinthians and each evening there will be a presentation on St Paul and the first letter to the Christians in Corinth.  As of now, there are six places left on this trip.  To ensure a place get in touch with Map Travel (01-8783116) or get in touch with Kieran directly at 087 339 0247.

‘Anchoring You in the Faith’
