The Irish Hospice Foundation

- is currently organising its annual training course on children and loss.  The course, a Professional Certificate in Children and Loss (Level 9), takes place between September 2015 and May 2016 and is certified by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.  The course is for teachers, chaplains, social workers, and others who meet bereaved children in their work.  The closing date for new applications is Friday 8th May.  Tel. 01-6793188.  Irish Hospice Foundation, Morrison Chambers, 32 Nassau Street, Dublin 2.

St. Columban 1400th Anniversary

Helping parishes celebrate the 1400th anniversary of the death of St. Columban on June 20th and 21st.  Two information days will take place at St. Columban’s, Dalgan Park, Navan, Co. Meath on Saturday 25th and Tuesday 28th April from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm.  A contribution of €12 per person would be appreciated.

Ecumenical Bible Week 2015

A series of presentations offered in a range of venues, aimed at the interested ordinary believer or enquirer.  Looking at the Bible from different perspectives: film, music, ethics, law and so forth, as well as more obvious approaches such as prayer (lectio divina) or organising a Bible Study group.  This year, the overall topic is “What is the Spirit saying to the Churches?”  Ecumenical Bible Week is from Pentecost Sunday to Trinity Sunday, 24th-31st May.  Further information on events and activities at

'Education In Crisis' - McAuley Conference 2015

Loss and Grief in Old Age

Beginning Experience May 2015

Br Roger's 100th birthday

Join us for a meditative chanted Evening Prayer on the 100th birthday of Brother Roger, the founder of the ecumenical monastic Community of Taizé.  Tuesday May 12th at 7.30pm in St Paul's Church, Arran Quay, Dublin 7.  All welcome.
