Anchor – New Young Adult Leadership Program

ANCHOR is for young adults (18+) who are interested in training to become a leader for the World Youth Day in Krakow.  It is designed to prepare for future parish-based opportunities also.  ANCHOR will be offered in different venues throughout the Archdiocese of Dublin.  It is important that you are available for one of the options mentioned below.ANCHOR will take place in:  A) Arklow Parish, Co. Concert of Gospel Music

D10 Gospel Choir and Maynooth Gospel Choir will perform a concert together on Thursday 18th June at 7.30 pm in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Ballyfermot.  Donation only.  Everyone is welcome.

Triduum Novena to St. Anthony

June 11th, 12th and 13th in St Anthony’s Parish, Clontarf.  10.00 am Mass each day and Novena Prayers led by Brother Seamus Byrne (preacher & musician).  Theme for Thursday 11th“Where is God when we feel Lost?”  Theme for Friday 12th“God’s Love can overcome Fear.”  Theme for Saturday 12th“I came that you might have Life.”Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament each day from 10.45 am to 12.00 noon.  All are welcome.

11th, 12th and 13th June in St. Fergal's Parish, Bray.  Conducted by Fr. 24-hour Adoration

Leixlip Parish, Church of Our Lady's Nativity.  Friday 12th/Saturday 13th June.  Commencing with 7.30 pm Mass on Friday and concluding with Benediction at 8.30 pm on Saturday.  Each hour will be hosted by a parish group, e.g. 8-9pm on Friday: Parish Folk Group, theme ‘Hope for Young People’.  2-3pm on Saturday:  St. Joseph’s Young Priests Society, Prayer for Vocations.  All are welcome to this annual parish event.!

Evening for Consecrated Life

Vacancy for Assistant Parish Sacristan

‘Pilgrims on a journey’

 The next Diocesan event for the Celebration of the Year of Consecrated Life takes the form of a Pilgrimage of Religious run Churches in the city centre.  Each day from the 12th to 20th June, the Religious Orders from various churches in Dublin’s city centre open their doors to warmly welcome you to pray, celebrate and discover the beauty of religious life in the heart of the city and to share and give witness to their mission, spirituality, prayer and daily life!  Special times of prayer will take place in each Church.  See https://yearofconsecratedlifedublin.wordpress.com for locations, times and prayer events.  All are welcome.
