Consecrated Life: A Living Tradition within the Church

8:00pm Friday 23rd October to 2:00pm Monday 26th October with Brian O’Leary SJ.  Pope Francis named this year as a Year of Consecrated Life.  He invites the whole church to reflect on and come to appreciate the charisms of this ecclesial lifestyle.  Marking the 50th anniversary of Perfectæ Caritatis, Vatican II’s document on religious life, we offer this weekend as an opportunity to thoughtfully and prayerfully take up the Pope’s call.  Using insights from the Bible, the history of religious life, and its underlying theology, we will explore the sources of the passion and commitment that religious life, at its best, has always embodied.  In this way we will be able to embrace an uncertain future with hope.  Participants may choose to have meals in silence or talking.  Cost: €210.  Booking: 01 8331352 or This email address is being protected from spambots.
